Our history goes back to the early 1990s. In 1994, INS was founded in France and Germany (1997 Luxembourg, 2001 Netherlands, 2006 USA, India and Australia). The early period of the development history of network technologies was characterised by a multitude of manufacturer-specific communication technologies. The need for standardised cabling and connection systems was recognised early on and together with the innovation forge AT&T, the company promoted the market penetration of structured cabling systems in the market. INS quickly won over major customers such as Price-Waterhouse and Anderson-Consulting. Co-founder and electrical engineer Amin Attia, who holds a doctorate in electrical engineering, is still managing director of our Frankfurt company today.

With the acquisition of Space Connection in 1998, INS once again recognised the signs of the times early on and integrated a leading developer for speech recognition into the competence profile of INS, thus opening providing its customers with strong innovation.

In 2001, INS acquired the deployment specialist Axilians, thereby expanding the capabilities of the INS Group to include key competencies for the handling of large IT projects.

As a result of the gradual focus and expansion to meet the service needs of customers, INS became a valued international managed service provider, with successful global players such as Cisco Systems, ABB and Anderson Consulting among its enthusiastic fans.

Due to its increasing attractiveness, INS was taken over by British Telecom in 2007 and integrated into British Telecom Professional Services GmbH, which continued to provide the necessary support in the planning, implementation and operation of network infrastructures for customers. Following restructuring within the BT Group, INS was spun off in 2017. The two visionaries Peter Trefzer (Managing Director of Cabsol Deutschland GmbH) and Amin Attia recognised the opportunities and potential here and transferred this business unit to Cabsol Integrated Network Solution.

At this point, the histories of two successful companies merge into one.

The history of Cabsol began in 2000 with the founding of Conetcom (renamed Cabsol in 2006 and the Swiss company was founded). At that time, three former Ascom project managers set out to put their extensive experience at the service of existing and new customers. From this point on they are able to implement challenging communication infrastructures independently, flexibly and agile. Close to the customer and always open to new ideas - this is how founder Peter Trefzer and the Cabsol team turned their customers into fans and this is how we still do it today. In 2019, in a restructuring of the business units, the "Digital Services" division, i.e. the provision of modern services in a digital world, was transferred to an independent company, Cabsol Digital Services GmbH (co-founded by the experienced Microsoft specialists Francesco Sole and Stefan Herok).

From facility management and data centres to modern services - Cabsol today combines comprehensive IT expertise under one roof. Then and now, we have and are pursuing one primary goal: we turn our customers into fans because we help them to achieve lasting, strong business success with permanently strong IT services.
